Regional leader interested in Anushka
Anushka is playing the role of 'Rudrama Devi' under the direction of GunaShekar. The story of Rudrama Devi belongs to Telangana people and Kakatiya Dynasty. This resembles yester-year heroine VijayShanthi's 'Osey Ramulamma' which was also based on Telangana stories. It was the movie that turned Vijaya Shanthi into 'Telangana Ramulamma' in Telangana politics. Now it's no wonder that TRS leader KCR is making his political move in pulling Anushka on board as the replacement to Vijaya Shanthi.
There are speculations that Vijaya Shanthi is planning to leave the party as she is unhappy with party policies and lack of respect to her position. KCR is much aware of this hovering and the harm that Vijaya Shanthi could cause by leaving the party. As per the film nagar talks, in order to fill the glamour quotient to the party, that Vijaya Shanthi served these days, they need someone fresh from the film industry. Who else other than Anushka could add enough glamour to the party? Let's see if this yoga teacher can teach the political lessons being the new "Chellemma" to KCR.
