Highest Paid Actress in Tollywood
Anushka is the only actress down South who could pull off the roles that demands an actress to perform heavy-duty action sequences so convincingly. That's the reason behind she being the first choice of filmmakers for strong female characters. The leggy lass has done a great job for Arundathi and is all set to repeat the act now for her historical flick 'Rundrama Devi'.
Although she is worth charging a record amount as her pay package with kind of talent she has got, Anushka was never particular about the financial aspects until now. However, 'Rundrama Devi' has made her the 'Highest Paid Actress in Tollywood' as she will be paid Rs 2 crore for putting her heart and soul into the project. As the film is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual, Director-cum-Producer have no issues in paying her such a huge amount.
Notably, none of the regional heroines have managed to pocket a remuneration of Rs 2 crore per film till date. Actresses like Trisha, Ileana and Kajal have come close to Rs 1.5 crore, but never been able to touch the Rs 2 crore barrier.
No producer will be ready to shell out crores if the actors aren't worth it. So, Anushka rightfully deserves every penny she has been getting through her assignments. Great going Sweety!
