For the rehearsals, Shruti Haasan had just one-and-a-half day after she rushed to Chennai from Karaikudi where she has been shooting for Vishal starrer 'Poojai' directed by Hari of Singham franchise fame. She didn't waste any time and practiced so hard for the awards night.

In fact, Shruti Haasan choose some of her chartbuster fast paced numbers in Telugu & Tamil for her performance. She was so used to moving her body that even after the event her hands and legs keep on moving for no specific reason.
