Ali's big break after a long gap
Ali is undoubtedly one of the top comedians in Telugu Film Industry and stands among very few comedians with a successful career spanning three decades. Compared to Brahmanandam, The career of Ali isn't consistent in the recent past. Poor form of Puri Jagannath who used to design roles keeping Ali in mind and the fact that filmmakers were more keen on designing special characters for Brahmi were said to be the reasons behind it.
After a very long time, Ali has got his due in the form of full-length comedy role as Naga Chaitanya's uncle role in 'Oka Laila Kosam'. The introduction scene of Ali and interval episode between Ali-Posani Krishna Murali have been the highlights of this romantic entertainer.
'Oka Laila Kosam' has received decent talk on opening day just because of Ali's comedy track. If not for this senior comedian's hilarious scenes, The movie could have surely bitten dust despite getting a solo release.
