Tollywood Director attempts suicide
A debutante director's suicide attempt came as a shock to the Telugu Film Industry. Something like this hasn't happened till date, at least in the recent past.
Durga Prasad, the director of the film 'Love Poison', has attempted suicide after the Censor Board refused to issue a certicifate for his film. This incident took place at Mehdipatnam.
As per the sources, the board members raised objections to the film's content and even didn't pay heed to the direction's explanation on why such scenes were included in the script. The young filmmaker lost his mental balance and consumed poison. He was rushed to the nearby hospital immediately.
The regional Censor Board is facing lot of criticism ever since Dhana Lakshmi took charge as the chief. Will the Centre react at least now!
