Kiran to be sacked! Who will be next CM?
Kiran Kumar Reddy's comments on Thursday opposing the division of state while addressing the press could cost him the Chief Minister post. Public representatives from Telangana have been breathing fire at chief minister for speaking just like a regional leader being in a respectable position.
Telangana Congress seniors D Srinivas, V Hanumantha Rao, Damodar Rajanarasimha and MPs have been mounting pressure on the High Command to replace Kiran with a suitable person for ensuring smooth division. T-leaders have been fearing that an anti-Telanagana leader like Kiran could obstruct the process of creation of new state if he continues as the chief minister.
If Congress leadership seeks the resignation of Kiran, Chiranjeevi and Damodar Rajanarasimha are the prime contenders for the CM post. Chiru has abide by the decision of High Command and refused to resign even though there is huge pressure on him. In that way, Actor-turned-politician won the trust of the party leadership.
