TRS chief hails cabinet decision on Telangana

Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief K. Chandrasekhara Rao has welcomed the union cabinet's decision to carve out separate Telangana state.

KCR, as Rao is popularly known, thanked the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government for the decision taken by the cabinet.

He, however, appealed to Telangana people to remain alert till parliament passed a resolution for formation of Telangana state.
