IBTL Pre-Poll Survey: Hung in Seemandhra, TRS in Telangana!

IBTL (India behind the lens) latest survey on the mood of the people in two newly formed states (Telangana and Residuary AP) has revealed interesting facts.

Seemandhra (Assembly seats - 175 seats; Magic Figure - 88 seats):

YSR Congress - 83 seats.

TDP - 80 seats.

Congress - 6 seats.

BJP - 2 seats.

Others - 4 seats.

The results suggest a possibility of Hung Assembly in Seemandhra region. Of course, YSR Congress has a slight edge over TDP but a lot depends on Congress and Others (which include Jai Samaikyandhra and Independents).

Telangana (Assembly seats - 119 seats; Magic Figure - 60 seats):

TRS - 60 seats.

Congress - 28 seats.

BJP - 9 seats.

MIM - 9 seats.

TDP - 6 seats.

Others - 7 seats.

TRS which is the champion of Telangana statehood is likely to form the government post elections. Congress will have to settle with the status of main opposition despite making T-statehood a reality.
