Simran Choudhary shared a peaceful and joyful photo on her Instagram. She looked cheerful as she posed in the middle of nature. She wore a deep blue saree with a plain white blouse. The green background and yellow flowers made the scene look calm and fresh. Her wide smile and closed eyes showed that she truly enjoyed the rain. Her caption read, “July showers 🌧️🌼”.

Before anyone asked her what she wanted to become, Simran Choudhary already knew. She wanted to become a singer. She was born in Punjab. She started her musical journey with the show Voice of Punjab. She later became the second runner-up in The Voice of India in 2019.

Simran trained in classical Hindustani music. Her album Folkin Rani – EP is special to her. She said, “The songs are very rooted to the culture of Punjab or possibly like any other culture as the conversations and the storylines we have used for the songs are very local.” She added, “If one hears the songs in EP, it would bring them a dash of nostalgia as one would feel they have heard it somewhere, maybe from your Dadis and Nanis.” Simran believes in staying close to her roots. Her music keeps those memories alive.
