Born on 5 December 1994 (or reported as 20 June 1994 in some sources) in Mangalore, Karnataka, and raised in Bengaluru, Neha Shetty is a Tulu-speaking actress and model. She began with beauty pageants, winning Miss Mangalore in 2014 and finishing as runner-up at Miss South India 2015, before transitioning to films.

She made her acting debut in the Kannada film Mungaru Male 2 (2016) as Nandini opposite Ganesh. Her Telugu debut came with Mehbooba (2018), directed by Puri Jagannadh. She gained wider recognition with roles in Gully Rowdy (2021) and a breakthrough as the witty Radhika in the hit comedy DJ Tillu (2022), earning praise for her performance. Subsequent films include Bedurulanka 2012 (2023), Rules Ranjann (2023), a cameo in Tillu Square (2024), and Gangs of Godavari (2024).
