Woman passenger gang-raped by four in Hyderabad

The city police arrested four persons in connection with the alleged gang rape in Telangana. A 30-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by auto driver and three others. The incident took place late Sunday in Manneguda village in Ranga Reddy district
The woman boarded an auto rickshaw last night when she was waiting for a bus to go to a nearby village. The auto driver offered to drop her in his three-wheeler and he later joined by three persons who threatened her. They drove her into a drain area where they allegedly raped her.
The victim lodged a complaint with the police and police arrested the accused . Police booked all of them under Nirbhaya Act and they will be produced in a court later in the day. Police also suspect the involvement of the accused in similar crimes in the past.
