Metro project is going to give lots of employment opportunities to the youngsters in Vijayawada and Vizag regions. In fact, people expected the same to happen for Guntur as this region too is included in the capital city expansion graph of Vijayawada.
Interestingly, Sridharan, who is heading metro projects in Andhra Pradesh, revealed that Guntur is out of radar. It is a noted fact that the capital city of Vijayawada can expand in all the angles. Guntur is on one side to Vijayawada and there are chances for the capital city to expand on all other sides too.
Hence, doubts on capital city expansion towards Guntur is now on peaks in the people. “Will Capital City expand towards Guntur or will the government plan city expansion in the opposite direction?” turned out to be the point. This latest decision on the metro project is revealed that Guntur may go out of the capital city expansion region!
