TRS reached 5 million

Telangana Chief Minister KCR is a very happy man after the Telangana Rashtra Samithi membership drive is doing a fantastic job.
The membership drive taken up by the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) is getting good response from the people, according to party leaders looking after the drive. As per the sources the party has inducted 5 million(50 lakh)
The number is far above the target set by the ruling party of Telangana and TRS chief KCR expressed his happiness for the overwhelming response.
“We set 30 lakh as a limit, but it is crossing 50 lakhs as per the information coming to us,” KCR said. KCR said that the party has 5 crores fund and predicted that another 3 crores will be collected in the form of membership. TRS too announced insurance to families of every member.
‘’The party would get about Rs 8 crore through the drive. TRS would provide insurance cover to the party members’’ said KCR
The leaders said going by the popularity of the TRS Govt welfare programmes, there is a likelihood of the enrolments exceeding the target.
