Half a dozen exit polls by various media houses on Indian Elections 2014 were circulated on media, but one survey predicts the exact results.Exit poll done by Today's Chanakya, a political research organization comes to reality.Unlike all others who predicted only 270 seats to NDA ,The political arm of the consumer research agency RNB Research, Today's Chanakya had predicted 340 seats for the National Democratic Alliance with the BJP's share as 291 seats on May 12, the last date of the polls.

On Friday, the NDA is slated to get 329 seats with the BJP crossing the half way mark with 279 seats. The UPA leads in about 70 seats with the Congress ahead in 48, close to Today's Chanakya prediction of 70 for UPA and 57 for the Congress

In state also the survey agency announced its results but it did for only Telangana region

The survey shows TRS is likely to win around 71 plus or minus 9 Assembly seats out of the total 117, by getting around 42% of the total polled votes.TRS won 63 Assembly seats.The survey told Congress, the party claiming credit for granting statehood to Telangana,is likely to be confined to around 23 plus or minus 7 seats, according to the poll.Congress bagged 20 Assembly seats

The Bharatiya Janata Party and the Telugu Desam Party combine may settle with around 15 plus or minus five seats while others may get around 10, the poll predicted.The Yellow party managed to bag 20 seats.

During the 2013 assembly polls, it was Chanakya that was dot on in it's predictions. In Delhi, it predicted that BJP will get 29 (plus minus nine) seats, AAP 31 (plus minus nine) seats and Congress 10 (plus minus five) seats and this was the closest any poll got to the actual results.
