Telugu Film bags International Award

Telugu film Naa Bangaaru Talli which is based on a true story of a Rajahmundry girl was picked up as the Nest Feature Film at the Trinity International Film Festival. The film deals with the trafficking of young girls but the filmmaker made sure there is no nudity or obscene scene as he wants the entire family to watch his movie.
Actress Anjali Patil who is a graduate of National School of Drama played the lead. Malayalam actor Siddique played the role of girl's father in the movie.
Director Rajesh says this award is the biggest international honour for Telugu Cinema after the film Daasi in 1988. He treats it as his biggest personal achievement.
