Telangana police launched app to identify stolen vehicles

The Telangana State Police have been coming with innovative thoughts. The state police who recently went to image makeover now developed a Mobile App in order to track stolen vehicles.This App is being provided to all the Officers of Telangana State Police up to the Rank of SIs working in Law and Order, Crime and Traffic Wings.
Whenever the officer suspects any vehicle, they can search details of the vehicle by entering vehicle no., chassis no. and engine no and they can verify whether the vehicle is a stolen one or not. The app also have another option called entry and using this all Police Officers who have this App can directly update the stolen/abandon vehicle particulars through their Mobile Phones
Launching the app Hyderabad CP Mahendar said that implementation of this application will help in nabbing the offenders. The App currently works on Android platform and development of IOS App is in progress.
