Superstar backs Versatile Actor

Rajinikanth came in support of Kamal Haasan, a longtime friend and his co-star in several super-hits, who is in all sorts of trouble due to the release issues of his controversial flick Viswaroopam.
Claming that Kamal has been his good friend since 40 years, Rajini asserted he knew the actor as a person who never hurts anyone intentionally. He advised the Muslim organizations which have been protesting to attend the special screening of the film and make necessary corrections without affecting the storyline.
Describing Kamal as a great artiste who has taken to the global level, Superstar appealed to the Muslim groups to withdraw their demand for a complete ban.
Taminadu government has imposed a 2 weeks ban on the film following the protests from Muslim groups. Kamal approached Madras High Court for the release on January 25th, unfortunately the hearing of the case was posted to 28th of this month as the Judge would be watching it on Saturday.
The reports of the early shows on 25th January were positive and the ones who have already watched it has been spreading the news that there is nothing in the film that is against any particular community.
