Congress party chief and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi proven liar by the words of Estranged Gandhi family loyalist Natwar Singh. After the results of 2004 Loksabha elections Sonia Gandhi many times claimed that she was following her "inner voice" in renouncing the high office. But today Natwar singh has opened up all the truth that were ran behind the scene.
Mr Natwar Singh is a Gandhi family loyalist since few decades, He was in the cabinet of UPA 1 . After food for oil scam he moved out of cabinet but still maintained his relationships with Gandhi Family. In the recent times he had written his autobiography, In this many facts are disclosed by him. He confirmed that Sonia wanted to be PM but Rahul was totally against her mother becoming PM. He said she would be killed like his father and grandmother and as a son he would not allow her to become the PM.
He said a meeting was held on May 18, 2004 where Manmohan Singh, Gandhi family friend Suman Dubey, Priyanka and he were present, and Priyanka conveyed Rahul's 24-hour deadline, leading to Sonia withdraw her name and nominate Manmohan Singh for PMship.
This is another setback after Sanjay baru former secretary who cornered Sonia on PMO files clearance earlier. The statement is justifying that Sonia always wanted to be in high profile.
