Samaikyandhra effect: No buses to Tirumala!

The agitations protesting the division of state has been causing inconvenience to the devotees who wish to seek the blessings of Lord Balaji in Tirumala. After 38 years, bus services between Tirupati and Tirumala has been stalled with the APSRTC employees joining the Sakala Janula Samme (SJS) from Monday onwards.

Despite the appeal by the TTD, APSRTC staff refused to continue the daily services to the hill shrine and they even asked the private travel operators to extend their support to the movement. Strike-bound RTC staff has been appealing to pilgrims not to visit Tirumala at this time to avoid inconvenience.

Several TTD employees board RTC buses daily to attend the work and return to their home. The strike is going to have a huge impact on the employees and the devotees.
