Sachin got rejected as Brand Ambassador

Goa Tourism Ministry has turned down the proposals of marketing agencies that represent batting icon Sachin Tendulkar and Bollywood stars Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan to sign these celebs as brand ambassadors for the state.
Tourism Minister Dilip Parulekar told there is no requirement of brand ambassadors for Goa as the state itself is a celebrity in its own right. He confirmed Goa willn't be roping any celebrities as a brand ambassador to promote, unlike other states.
Dilip Parulekar is confident that tourist will obviously choose Goa over other tourist destinations in the country. Few years ago, Bollywood actress Prachi Desai was roped as brand ambassador and no other celeb has been chosen even after the completion of her tenure.
