Rs 9 crore offered for Pawan Kalyan

Please don't jump into any conclusions! Here the discussion isn't regarding the remuneration of Pawan Kalyan, but the satellite rights offered to his film.
According to the unit sources, MAA TV has stricken a deal with the makers of Pawan's upcoming release 'Atharintiki Daredi' to acquire the satellite rights of the films for a whooping Rs 9 crore to set the Industry record. Earlier, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu holds the record with a figure of Rs 8.5 crore, followed by Baadshah (Rs 8 crore), Nayak (Rs 7.5 crore), Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu (Rs 7 crore).
The tremendous pre-release buzz for 'Atharintiki Daredi' helped Powerstar to achieve this rare record. The combination of Pawan Kalyan & Trivikram, golden leg Samantha's presence, wholesome family entertainer tag and Devi Sri Prasad's music played a big role here.
'Atharintiki Daredi' emerged as the only film to do a pre-release business of around Rs 60 crore. If challenge would be meeting the expectations of the film lovers. Hope, Pawan comes out with flying colors yet again!
