RGIA can be nominated as Golden Airport

Its quite interesting story that in recent days the customs department in Hyderabad International airport in general talks , as RGIA can be recognized as golden airport. Of course thats becoming true since past one year. When government thought to restrict gold imports , then they have start imposing heavy tax to limit the current deficit. From there onwards the smuggling of gold quite increased and especially in RGIA an on average every week there will be news on the gold smuggling and this also in the quantity of KG's. This is really worrying customs department and the government as there are many type of people are involving in the gold smuggling from Air-hostess to uneducated persons. Government is losing hundreds of crores due to this way of gold imports. Even today customs have recovered around 1 KG of gold from Hyderabad passenger who is coming from Dubai. SO there will not be any surprise if RGIA soon will be recognized as golden airport.
