Medak Lok Sabha bi-election is in the eyes of every political party in Telangana state. The seat that fell vacant with the resignation of K Chandra Sekhar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, is all set to go for a by poll on September 13.Today is the last date for filing nominations and three major parties candidates from the state had filed the nominations just while ago.
Toorpu Jayaprakash reddy and Suneetha Lakshma reddy filed their nomination from BJP and Congress respectively.From TRS, Transport tycoon Kotha Prabhar filed the nomination and he was accompanied by minister and Harish rao and MLA Babu mohan.Congress senior leaders Geeta Reddy ,Shabbir Ali and Damodara Rajanarasimha attended along with their party candidate Suneetha Lakshma Reddy for filing Nomination.
After many consultations BJP finalized name of Rebel politician Jagga Reddy.Since BJP announced Jagga Reddy as its candidate its ally party TDP also supported his candidature and TS TDP leaders Revanth reddy and Errabelli attended for nomination along with Jagga Reddy.
Totally 18 members filed their nominations for the by polls and everyone exuded confidence on winning the seat. Speculations are rife that actor-Jana Sena party chief Pawan Kalyan would be behind the decision of BJP to announce Jagag Reddy name .It was reported by soime media sources that Pawan had referred the name of Jagga Reddy in his recent meeting with BJP's chief Amit Shah in Hyderabad.
