Paisa pirate caught red-handed

Manoj Kumar, a 31-year-old pirate, was arrested for allegedly recording the latest Telugu release 'Paisa' using a Sony HD Camera in INOX Cinemas, Kachiguda. Anti-Video Piracy Cell and a Police team caught the pirate red-handed on 7-2-2014 at around 10 am.
During the investigation, The pirate revealed that he has been camcording the new releases for illegal money and he used the same technique in other theatres including Prasads IMAX, Big Cinemas, Sasikala, Chandrakala and etc., Manoj admitted to have recorded other new releases 1 - Nenokkadine, Yevadu, Uyyala Jampala, Heart Attack and Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda in a similar manner. He supplies the recorded print to Purna Chandra Rao who is native of Guntur.
Cases were booked against the pirate under sections 51, 63, 52 - A(2) r/w 68 (A) of Copyright Act 1957, 66(A) of Information Technology Act 2000 & 420 IPC.
