Actress Rakshita is all set to contest the next general elections from Mandya MP Constituency in Karnataka on Janata Dal (Secular) ticket.
In fact, Rakshita joined BSR Congress at first and she was also the Woman Wing President. Earlier, she had plans to contest from Rajarajeswarinagar constituency but party directed her to move to Chamarajanagar constituency. However, Party workers in Chamarajanagar refused to accept her as their candidate and an upset Rakshita quit BSR Congress last year to join JDS party.
Apparently, Heroine Ramya is the sitting MP of Mandya Constituency and she was elected in the recent by-elections with huge majority. The pretty beauty wishes to retain her seat yet again in 2014. Hence, a political war between these two starlets is confirmed.
On the other hand, Even Kannada star hero Upendra is likely to enter politics before 2014 polls. He is expected to join the National party BJP.
