Namaste Telangana chairman joins BJP

Lakshmi Rajam, the Chairman of Namaste Telangana Telugu News Daily, has joined in Bharaitya Janata party in the presence of Rajnath Singh, the Party’s National President. He said he was inspired by Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, to join BJP.
He added that he would serve the country through BJP. He also pointed out that his news paper belongs to all, and joining BJP was a personal move.
Lakshmi rajam is a close aid of KCR and the sudden decision of rajam came shock to the newly appointed CM.The role of C.L. Rajam has been called into question by the Telugu Desam Party in the allotment of Polavaram project tenders to SEW Infrastructure Ltd.
Namaste Telangana's office is located in the Telangana Bhavan, the TRS headquarters, and Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao and a businessman D. Damodar Rao hold major portion of equity shares.
Speculations were rife that the head of the paper was likely to be changed soon. Was that the reason behind him joining the party?
