Naidu mourns death of Singapore's Founding Father

Singapore's first prime minister Lee Kuan Yew who is regarded as Founding Father of the nation died on Monday at the age of 91. A statement inssued by the Government reads Mr Lee passed away peacefully at the Singapore General Hospital today at 3.18 am.
Lee Kuan Yew was the co-founded the People's Action Party (PAP) and became Singapore's first prime minister in 1959. He was in power for over 3 decades and played a key role in Singapore's transformation as Asia's most developed nation.
Although he wasn't active in public and political affairs in the past few year, Lee Kuan Yew is an influential person in the Government of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong who happens to be his elder son.
