Recently, Akkineni Nagarjuna teamed up with former cricketer Sunil Gavaskar and former Indian team manager Chamundeswarinath to acquire the Mumbai franchise of Indian Badminton League (IPL). It was a big surprise for everyone as no one knew that the actor is good at sports and likes to be part of it.

When asked about his connection with the sport, Nag claimed he is a good badminton player and reveals there used to be a big court in Annapoorna Studios for 15 years. He recollects the memories of playing with his dad ANR and mom Annapoorna in the Studio. The actor stopped playing recently after undergoing a knee sugary.

Nagarjuna opined that shooting with dad ANR and son Naga Chaitanya for Akkineni multi-starrer 'Manam' was a memorable experience. He even confirmed about the acting debut of Akhil, but denied signing any director till date for the launch. He, however, informed few big directors have been keen to work with the young talent and happy with the fact that Akhil is taking his debut very seriously.

Next release of Nag will be 'Bhai' in which he plays a Don and Director Veerabhadram packaged it with loads of fun elements. The film is expected to release in September.
