Mosque is not a religious place, can be demolished any time

Subramanian Swamy while participating in a programme at Gouhathi reportedly stated that a mosque is just a building and can be demolished any time.He also challenged to debate any person who disagreed with his views. Swamy also told that some mosques demolished for construction of roads in Saudi Arabia country.
The controversial leader said, “A mosque is not a religious place. It is just a building. It can be demolished any time. I am ready to debate with people who disagree with me .I got this information from people of Saudi Arabia".
Earlier Swamy stoked controversy by claiming all Indian Muslims were Hindus. Meanwhile Number of protests broke out after Swamy's remark and a criminal case was filed against him by Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS).
An FIR under IPC Sections 120 (B) (criminal conspiracy) and 153 (A) (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion) has been filed against Swamy. They alleged that Swamy is spreading communal disturbance ahead of Assam Assembly Elections.
