Mittal spends Rs 505 cr on daughter’s wedding

Steel Tycoon Lakshmi mittal known for his lavish life style and he spends around 350 crores for his daughter Vanisha marriage in 2004.Now after a decade Pramod Mittal, the younger brother of Lakshmi Mittal broke the record and reportedly spent 60 million Euros (about Rs. 505 crore) on his daughter's wedding which happened recently in Barcelona.

Of course, Pramod had made special arrangement to retain all of it for posterity. He had even deployed helicopters to capture bird’s eye shots of the wedding. A 60- kg cake, balloons, festoons and dazzling lightwork were the accessories. On account of the festivities, heritage monuments in and around were shut down for the first time ever.

According to Forbes, the wedding would be located in the second place, between Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, ruler of Abu Dhabi, and Princess Salama, where it cost 76.25 million Euros in 1981 and of the Prince of Wales, for which 53 million Euros was paid, also in that year.

For now, Lakshmi Mittal's daughter, Vanisha, holds third place when she married Amit Bhatia in 2004
