Mahesh Babu Mother-in-Law and Former Minister Galla Aruna Kumari has decided to take political sanyas post the defeat in the recent General Elections.
Galla Aruna Kumari is a Roads and Buildings Minister in Kiran Kumar Reddy's cabinet. Post the passage of T-Bill in Parliament, She shifted loyalties to Chandrababu Naidu and contested from Chandragiri Assembly Segment on TDP Ticket. She, however, lot the battle to YSR Congress candidate Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy in the polls by a margin of over 6,000.
Galla Aruna wishes to devote her time to social activities in Chandragiri constituency and hence she is planning to quit political.
On the other hand, Galla Aruna's son Jaydev registered a thumping victory as TDP Candidate from Guntur Lok Sabha constituency. He is likely to be taken into Narendra Modi's cabinet as Naidu trust him so much.
