'MARD' (Men Against Rape and Discrimination) - The campaign launched by Bollywood director-cum-actor Farhan Akhtar has become a point of discussion every where. The initiative got a huge mileage with big names Sachin Tendulkar, Shahrukh Khan and Mahesh Babu getting associated with it!
We are aware that Farhan Akhtar has approached Mahesh Babu seeking his voiceover for the 'MARD' Telugu poem to make it reach out to all the Telugu speaking people. While the Hindi version of the poem was written by noted lyricist Javed Akhtar, Trivikram Srinivas stepped in for translating it to Telugu for the regional version.
Farhan Akhtar has revealed MARD poem has been successfully recorded in Telugu and Marathi by Mahesh Babu and Sachin Tendulkar. It's a proud moment for Telugus to see Mahesh in a same league of Sachin and Shahrukh.
In a movement to fight against atrocities against women, MARD poem sends the message 'voice for equality and end to violence'! The entire team is super happy with the final outcome which is going to be aired soon.
