Kona Venkat work-shop in USA! Whats up?

Just few days after the reports of a short film with USA backdrop surfaced, Tollywood A-list writer Kona Venkat has come up with another surprise. He will be now conducting a work shop in US for training the aspiring filmmakers.
The star writer even named the training program as 'Thought to Theatre' and divided it into five parts:
1) Developing an idea - Teaches how an idea can be moulded into a commercial script;
2) Piching: The art of convincing actors and producers;
3) Budgeting and Pre-production: Budget based on script and how one can save money with good pre-production;
4) Direction: Teaches how one shouldn't direct and practicalities of direction;
5) Marketing and Releasing: The art of taking the film to audience and finding buyers.
Why Kona choose to direct a short film and organize a work shop instead of turning into a director using his knowledge and good contacts in the Industry is still a mystery! What for he is delaying his directorial debut?
