KCR targets 58,000 Illegal Constructions in Hyd

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao ordered stern action against 58,000 illegal constructions in Hyderabad by the GHMC. He described the illegal establishments which vanished the lakes as a curse to the capital. He also directed the officials act against land encroachments and illegal constructions.

KCR also revealed his plans to built two more airports in Hyderabad. While one of them is going to be near Shamirpet & Jawaharnagar, The other will be between Ghatkesar and Keesara. He also felt there is need for another Outer Ring Road (ORR) to handle the traffic effectively.

The Telangana CM expects the population of Hyderabad to rise to 3.5 crore by 2019 from 90 lakhs in 2014 as the Information Technology Investment Region (ITIR) which is worth over 2 lakh crore is going to come up in the city.
