KCR close aid Tiger Narendra died!!

Senior BJP leader and Former TRS leader Ale Narendra has passed away in Care hospital today (9th April 2014) following a prolonged illness. He breathed his last at 4 PM. Narendra was 69. Ale Narendra was survived by two sons and a daughter. Narendra, who gained the acclaim as Tiger Narendra for his daring counter-attacks against Muslim fundamentalists in Hyderabad.


Narendra, who represented Medak parliamentary constituency twice in the past, came out of the BJP in 2000 when it dumped the Telangana slogan. Later, he founded Telangana Sadhana Samithi(TSS) to fight for separate Telangana statehood, but after the Telangana Rashtra Samithi founded by K Chandrasekhara Rao became popular, he merged his TSS with the TRS.

Very soon, he grew into the No. 2 position in the TRS and was made the chairman of Telangana elected representatives forum. He became union minister of state for rural development in 2004.

Narendra has been in politics for the past 4 decades and he was suspended from the Telangana Rashtra Samithi because of allegations in the Emigration Scam.

On July 27, 2011 he again joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.
