Animals are very important in protection of environment. Once upon a time mouse deer is one of the animals which we found more in Andhra Pradesh. Hyderabad Nehru Zoo officers are involved in increasing those numbers.
Once, these animals were found thousands in number in Adilabad, Tirupati districts. These are very small in deer species.. And were like bridge between animals and deer’s. These became corban to hunter arrows and reached to extinct stage. Forest officers decided to increase these animals count.
Three years back in Hyderabad Nehru zoo there was two male and four female mouse deer’s. With these they started fertilization.For every five months these animals will give birth to Childs and the life span is six years. on Wednesday two mouse deer’s got birth in Hyderabad zoo. With this the count goes to 50. When this count reached to 100 then they are feeling to leave these animals in forest. Officers are feeling happy for their success on fertilization process.
