Former Indian Cricketer Anil Kumble is likely to be the 77th member of the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame. The Indian spinner will be inducted into the elite club on the eve of World Cup match between India and South Africa on Sunday.

Kumble is only the fourth Indian to find a place in ICC Cricket Hall of Fame. Earlier, Bishen Bedi, Kapil Dev and Sunil Gavaskar were inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame in 2009.

With an empeccable career in both Tests and ODIs, Kumble will always be remembered as the most successful Indian Bowler. He bagged 619 Test and 337 ODI wickets. He is only the 3rd highest wicket taker in Tests after Muralidaran (800) and Shane Warne (708). Wheras, He occupies 9th Position in ODIs.

Kumble holds the record of taking all the 10 Wickets in an Innings, only next to England bowler Jim Laker. He achieved this feat against Pakistan in 1999.
