West Indies player Chris Gayle registered a lot of records with his double century against Zimbabwe in the World Cup match on Tuesday.
To everyone's surprise, The most destructive player in Cricket history says Indian Batsman Rohit Sharma was his inspiration behind the double ton. "Ever since Rohit Sharma got two double tons, I have been hounded to score one as well. I am happy to get first double hundred," he says.
Rohit Sharma is the only cricketer to score two double hundreds to his name. He holds the record of highest ODI score (264) ever and this was achieved against Sri Lanka in the year 2014.
