About Four Indians have found a place in the Forbes 12th annual list of World's 100 Most Powerful Women. SBI Chief Arundhati Bhattacharya (30), ICICI Bank Chairman Chanda Kochhar (35), Biocon Founder Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw (85) and HT Media Chairperson Shobhana Bhartia (93) are the ones who made it to the elite club.

World's 100 Most Powerful Women - Forbed: Top 10

1) German Chancellor Angela Merkel; 2) US Presidential Candidate in 2016 Polls Hillary Clinton; 3) Philanthriopist Melinda Gates; 4) Federal Reserve Chaperson Janet Yellen; 5) GM CEO Mary Barra; 6) IMF Chief Christine Lagarde; 7) Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff; 8) Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg; 9) YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki; 10) US First Lady Michelle Obama.

Indian-origin PepsiCo Chief Indra Nooyi and Cisco Chief Technology Officer Padmasree Warrior also found a place in Forbes list.

At least 50 percent of the women on the Forbes annual list are Americans. The report also quoted 197 out of 1,826 billionaires worldwide are women and that's 11 percent.
