The cash for vote scam seems to be reaching the final stage. The Central Forensic Labs officials have submitted the primary analysis report of the audio and video records submitted to them by the ACB officials.

ACB officials have filed a memo in the ACB court seeking a certified copy of the report so as to take further steps in this case. This voice test report is crucial for case, as this may proves AP CM Chandrababu Naidu as Kingpin.However, the Centre may not allow the ACB to proceed against the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu as it may lead to constitutional crisis.

On May 31, Revanth Reddy, TDP's key MLA was arrested while trying to lure Nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson. Following the arrest, video tapes of Revanth's conversation with Stephenson aired in media.A week later, an alleged audio tape of CBN with nominated MLA created quite a buzz in leading to a political turmoil.

Meanwhiel the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Andhra Pradesh began probe into the alleged phone-tapping by the Telangana government by summoning phone service providers. Already, Revanth Reddy is in remand and clamour is growing for Chandrababu Naidu’s name to be included in the list of the accused.
