Potluri Varaprasad who failed to bag the TDP ticket for Vijayawada Lok Sabha segment is leaving no stone unturned to contest as an MP in upcoming elections.
As TDP is unhappy with candidature of BJP's Kambhampati Haribabu as Visakha Lok Sabha candidate, PVP chalked out a new plan to make use of this rift between the two parties in his favour. He placed the proposal of contesting as BJP candidate from Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha constituency before TDP-BJP Bosses.
Even TDP has no better choice as Ganta Srinivasa Rao has refused to contest against YSR Congress candidate YS Vijayalakshmi by saying he had already filed his nomination for Bheemili Assembly Constituency. So, PVP is the right candidate to fight against a strong candidate like Vijayamma. Having the support of Pawan Kalyan who enjoys a great following in district is an added advantage for this Industrialist.
