Facebook Record Donation to Ebola Epidemic

In a media statement Zuckerberg said his wife Priscilla Chan who is a pediatrician was the inspiration for his donation.
In a facebook message he expressed as "It has infected 8400 people so far, but it is spreading very quickly and projections suggest it could infect 1 million people or more over the next several months if not addressed,". Adding to this he said"We believe our grant is the quickest way to empower the CDC and the experts in this field to prevent this outcome, Grants like this directly help the front-line responders in their heroic work. These people are on the ground setting up care centers, training local staff, identifying Ebola cases and much more". He urged world leaders to respond on priority for this epidemic.
Zuckerberg and his wife Chan are given the grant from their fund at the non-profit Silicon Valley Community Foundation which found in 2010.
