Rahul Gandhi visits Delhi slums, warns govt against demolition drive

After loosing recent elections many congress leaders pointed fingers at Rahul in his failure in driving the party. Some went a step forward demanded his removal from party leadership. Seems those comments given little shy to Rahul Gandhi. Yesterday Rahul visited Pahadi area in Delhi and made strong comments on demolitions. First time in his career people witnessed such strong words fro Rahul.


Delhi officials demolishing illegal constructions in Pahadi area left many people homeless. In his visit to Pahadi area he iterated Congress support to affected people. Called officials to drive bulldozers on him. Expressed dissatisfaction over government decision and urged to wait till winter completion. He demanded officials explanation on demolishing the constructions without serving any notices.
