Comedian earns Flop Hero tag

Comedian Vennela Kishore shot to fame with Vennela directed by Deva Katta. His performance in films like Dookudu, Baadshah and Bindaas has been appreciated.
Apart from playing character and comedian roles, Vennela Kishore has been acting as a lead in several films. However, none of these films have been decent hits at the box office. Vennela One and Half, Atadu Ame O Scootr and D/O Varma have been declared as duds. With three back-to-back flops, he aged the tag of flop hero.
Vennela Kishore also tasted failure as a director as well. Vennela One and Half and Jaffa were disasters. They failed to recover at least the print cost and people began wishing he gives up his dream of becoming a successful director.
