Can Rahul contest from Telengana in upcoming elections?

As per the recent surveys in Telengana, support of the people is more towards TRS rather than towards Congress. As TRS is not interested in merging into Congress, we can say that this party may get the chance to rule the region in near future.
There is a buzz in the media that Rahul Gandhi is being projected towards Telengana in the upcoming elections. It seems that he may take the prestigious Medak district, in which his grandmother Indira Gandhi contested long back. As TRS is having more power in Telengana and as they are not ready to merge the party into Congress, “Is it safe for Congress to trigger Rahul Gandhi from Telengana?” turned interesting.
Analysts are saying that Rahul may not enter the arena from Telengana as the situation is not at all in favor of Congress. For sure, he will not choose Seemandhra as there is no point for Congress high command to contest in that region. Hence, Congress may look towards the other states to give victory to Rahul Gandhi.
