Actress Parvathy Menon made shocking remarks that willn't go down well with the the fans of Tamil star Dhanush.
Parvathy was asked if she had signed her upcoming flick 'Maryan' because Dhanush is playing the lead during a recent media interaction and the budding heroine replied,"I didn't even know who Dhanush was when I signed the project. The script and the director were the factors that made me sign the movie. The fact that a big production house like Aascar Films producing the flick also played a part. "
Neverthless, Parvathy is highly impressed with the acting prowess of Dhanush after working with him in 'Maryan' and the respect for the Tamil star has only multiplied.
It's still surprising to hear that Parvathy don't know about Dhanush who became world famous with the 'Kolaveri Di' from '3'. In a way, the actress insulted the Tamil star. Is this an attempt to prove she prefers good scripts over stars?
'Maryan' is about the story of an oil worker who was kidnapped and taken hostage in Sidan. How he fights the odds to get back to home and lead a normal life with his lady love forms the rest of the story.
