Barack Obama joins Twitter, sets New Record!

US President Barack Obama is the new celebrity to join the micro blogging site Twitter.
Obama's First Tweet: "Hello, Twitter! It's Barack. Really! Six years in, they're finally giving me my own account."
The US President used a White House iPhone to send the tweet instead of his high-security Blackberry. Confirming the news, The White House tweeted a short video of Obama sending his tweet from the Oval Office.
In just 5 hours, Obama managed to amass as many as million followers on Twitter. Twitter is yet to confirm if this is the fastest I Million.
Until now, Robert Downey Jr. holds the Guinness World Record of fastest million followers. He achieved this feat in April 2014 and it took him 23 hours & 22 minutes to make it to record books.
