Acid Attack on Woman in AP

A Man attacked a Woman with with acid in Garlapadu village in Prakasam District on Wednesday. The attack took place when the woman was sleeping on a cot outside her house.
Reportedly, The Accused poured acid on the Woman and fled from the spot. Locals have rushed the 40-Year-Old to the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) where she was admitted with severe burn injuries.
Based on the statement of the victim, Police identified the accused as Danaiah and registered a case. The culprit is a native of Kothur village. Search operation is underway to nab him.
Maddipadu SI M Devakumar said the two people are in a live-in relationship and she was attacked due to difference of opinion.
