26/11 Hero Wife Died, Mumbai Police in Shock

Kavita Karkare, Wife of former Maharashtra Anti-Terror Squad chief Hemant Karkare who died fighting terrorists during the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai. Today doctors declared kavitha died with brain haemorrhage.
Mrs Karakare had been admitted to the Hinduja hospital in Mumbai after she had slipped into coma yesterday. Mrs Karkare had been in the news for demanding better weapons, training and facilities for police personnel after her husband's killing.
Kavitha husband Hemant Karkare was killed along with Additional Commissioner of Police Ashok Kamte and Senior Inspector Vijay Salaskar, in the 26/11 terrorist attacks in the city in 2008. Mumbai police remembered her fight on government for them. Expressed condolences to her family.
