Yashika Aannand, born on August 4, 1999, in New Delhi, has become a recognized figure in the Tamil film industry since her debut. Her career began after she gained popularity as an Instagram model. She started acting in 2015, appearing in a deleted scene from Inimey Ippadithan. However, her first major role came in Kavalai Vendam (2016), where she portrayed a swimming instructor. Her breakthrough came with Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru (2016), a successful film that earned her recognition. Yashika also starred in the adult comedy Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu (2018), which performed well at the box office.

Yashika’s big TV debut was in the second season of Bigg Boss Tamil, where she finished in fifth place. In 2021, she received the Best Actress Award at the Las Vegas Independent Film Festival for her performance in Bestie.
